NOW RECRUITING: 10 Founders for 1:1 Systems Diagnostics for the 'Making the Complex Simple' launch. [Apply Here]

Vision
To build “The Village” – a resilient global community of optimised SME leaders who use radical simplicity to protect their scale, buy back their time, and pour stability back into the local economies and families they employ.
Architecting scalable systems for 7–8 figure leaders so they can turn friction into leverage.
Freeing founders from the complexity trap so they can reclaim their time, relationships and legacy.
We even keep this simple – and powerful.
For over 20 years I’ve worked inside global companies, government, not-for-profits and high-growth businesses, fixing the kind of messy, complex problems that pull founders into a permanent complexity trap. Across more than a dozen industries, I kept seeing the same pattern: when complexity rises, growth stalls, teams burn out and profit leaks away; when strategy, operations and people line up, business gets simpler, margins improve and leaders get their time back.
Pragmatic People exists to create that alignment. Through SME consulting, the Pragmatic Business Apprenticeship and the Pragmatic Business Accelerator, I help founders turn friction into leverage by replacing chaos with simple, repeatable systems that actually work in the real world. I also teach Systems Thinking, Strategic Alignment and Leadership in the University of Adelaide’s online MBA program, translating enterprise-level tools into plain-English frameworks that smaller businesses can actually use.
Right now, I’m writing Making the Complex Simple – a book focused on practical, systematic improvements for SMEs, so founders can scale without losing control of quality, culture or cash. My approach is direct, practical and people-centred: no jargon, no hustle-culture nonsense, just clear thinking, honest conversations and a focus on measurable results.

Aim: Right now, I’m deploying our Pragmatic Accelerator Plans, SCALE framework and UEM building block frameworks to systematically strip operational complexity out of 7-figure businesses, so founders can move from the daily firefight to a clean, predictable engine.
Game: To build “The Village” – a resilient global community of optimised SME leaders who use radical simplicity to protect their scale, buy back their time, and pour stability back into the local economies and families they employ.
